Who This Guide Is For

This isn't theory. It's a living document of what actually works in 2026 — tools I've tested, workflows I've built, and mistakes I've made so you don't have to. Whether you're starting from zero or scaling an existing presence, there's something here for you.

How to use this guide: Skip to the scenario that matches where you are right now. Each section includes specific tools, realistic timelines, and budget considerations. The case study at the end shows how these pieces fit together in practice.

🌱

Scenario 1: Starting From Zero

You have ideas but no content, no following, and no idea where to start

Budget: $0-50/month

Your First 30 Days

Don't build a brand yet. Build a habit. The goal is one piece of content per day — any format, any quality. You're learning what feels sustainable.

📝 ChatGPT / Claude

Ideation, scripting, and caption writing. Treat it as a brainstorming partner, not a ghostwriter.

Freemium
🎨 Canva

Graphics, thumbnails, and basic video editing. The free tier is generous for beginners.

Free
📱 CapCut

Mobile video editing with AI features. Perfect for TikTok/Reels/Shorts.

Free
📊 Notion

Content calendar, idea bank, and progress tracking. Start organized.

Free

Specific Use Case: The "Vlog in a Day" Workflow

Morning (30 min): Record 3-5 short clips on your phone — morning routine, a thought, something you made/eat/saw.

Midday (20 min): Use CapCut's AI to auto-generate captions and suggest cuts. Don't over-edit.

Evening (15 min): Write a caption in your voice (use AI to polish, not replace). Post and engage for 10 minutes.

Weekend (1 hour): Review what performed best. Double down on that format next week.

📈

Scenario 2: Ready to Scale

You're posting regularly but growth has plateaued. Time to work smarter.

Budget: $50-200/month

The Scaling Stack

At this stage, your time is more valuable than saving $20. Invest in tools that automate the repetitive work so you can focus on what only you can do — your unique perspective and voice.

🎙️ ElevenLabs

AI voice cloning for consistent audio. Great for voiceovers without recording setup.

🖼️ Midjourney / Flux

Custom visuals, thumbnails, and brand assets that don't look stock.

📅 Buffer / Later

Cross-platform scheduling with optimal timing suggestions.

$15-25/month
📈 VidIQ / TubeBuddy

YouTube SEO, trend alerts, and competitor analysis.

$7.50-49/month

Specific Use Case: The Content Multiplier

Start with one long-form piece (YouTube video, podcast, blog post).

AI extraction: Use ChatGPT/Claude to pull 5-10 key quotes/insights.

Format conversion: Transform each into: Short vertical clip, carousel graphic, text post, quote image.

Scheduling: Space these across the week using Buffer. Your one hour of creation becomes a week of content.

Voice consistency: If using AI voice for some content, record a "signature" intro/outro in your real voice to maintain authenticity.

🚀

Scenario 3: Managing Multiple Platforms

You're on 3+ platforms and drowning in the complexity. Time to systematize.

Budget: $200-500/month

The Automation Layer

You need systems, not just tools. The goal is to reduce decision fatigue and maintain quality across every touchpoint.

⚡ Make / Zapier

Workflow automation. Auto-post from RSS, cross-post between platforms, trigger actions.

$9-19/month
🤖 OpenClaw / n8n

Self-hosted AI agents for complex automation. Requires technical setup but unlimited potential.

Free (self-hosted)
🎬 Descript

Edit video by editing text. Auto-remove filler words. AI voices for corrections.

📊 Metricool

Unified analytics across all platforms. Best-in-class reporting.

$22/month

Specific Use Case: The Autopilot System

Content Repository: Everything lives in Notion/Airtable with status tags (Idea → Draft → Scheduled → Published).

Creation Sprints: Batch-create 2 weeks of content in one focused session.

Automated Distribution: New YouTube video → auto-generate clips with Opus/Descript → auto-post to Shorts/Reels/TikTok via Make/Zapier.

Engagement Windows: Schedule 30-minute blocks for genuine interaction. Don't try to be "always on."

Analytics Review: Weekly automated report showing what's working. Adjust next batch accordingly.

👥

Scenario 4: Building a Team

You're hiring editors, VAs, or co-creators. Time to build SOPs.

Budget: $500+/month

The Human + AI Hybrid

At this level, AI becomes the coordination layer between human team members. The goal is clarity, not replacement.

📋 Notion / ClickUp

Team workspace with AI features for drafting SOPs and project management.

$8-19/user/month
🎥 Frame.io

Video collaboration with AI transcription and version control.

📝 Grammarly Business

Brand voice consistency across all written content.

🤝 Slack + AI Summaries

Team communication with AI-generated recaps of missed conversations.

Specific Use Case: The Production Pipeline

Ideation (You): Record voice memo or rough outline.

Research (VA + AI): VA uses AI tools to gather data, examples, and competitor content.

Script (You + AI): You dictate key points; AI drafts full script; you refine.

Production (Editor): Editor uses AI-assisted tools (Descript, Runway) for efficient editing.

Distribution (VA): VA schedules across platforms using your templates.

Analytics (AI): Weekly AI-generated performance report with recommendations.

Case Study: The 0604.ai Launch

This section documents my actual journey — what's worked, what hasn't, and where I'm headed. Consider it a real-time case study you can follow along with.

The Starting Point (March 2026)

After 25 years as an international teacher across Myanmar, Thailand, Hong Kong, China, and the UK, I decided to build something of my own. Not just a YouTube channel — a platform. The 0604.ai identity represents everything I am: teacher, son, father, friend, creator, AI enthusiast, musician, gamer, traveler, cook, film buff. The algorithm hates multifaceted creators, but I refuse to be boxed in.

March 27, 2026 — Day 0

Registered 0604.ai domain. Recorded "Birth of the Channel" video — the moment of taking the leap. Uploaded first two videos to YouTube. Zero subscribers, zero expectations.

Week 1-2 — Foundation

Set up basic website on GitHub Pages. Created consistent visual identity (earth tones, Playfair Display + Inter fonts). Established posting schedule: 2 videos per week minimum. Focus on authentic documentation over polished production.

Week 3-4 — Systems

Built content calendar in Notion. Set up CapCut templates for consistent thumbnails. Started using AI for: title brainstorming, description writing, and identifying content gaps. Realized my edge is the intersection of teacher wisdom + tech knowledge + personal transformation.

Month 2 — Expansion

Launched merchandise (philosophy-themed tees). Integrated shop into website. Created educational resources section (AI for School) to give back to the teaching community. Started email list for direct connection outside algorithms.

🚀 Quick Start: Your First Week

Don't wait until you have the perfect plan. Start messy, start now. Here's your literal first week:

1

Day 1: Choose Your Platform

Where does your audience hang out? YouTube for long-form, TikTok for discovery, LinkedIn for professional, Instagram for visual.

2

Day 2: Set Up Your Stack

Free tier of Canva + ChatGPT. That's literally it. Don't overthink tools.

3

Day 3: Create Your First Piece

Bad content posted beats perfect content in your drafts. Ship something.

4

Days 4-7: Build the Habit

One piece per day. Any format. Quality comes from quantity.
